That is why you are CEO of CCC!!

"Did you ever read the Edgar Rice Burroughs, "John Carter of Mars" series?"
Anyone who is on this thread and who hasn't read the Mars trilogy by Kim Stanley Robinson (Red Mars, Blue Mars, Green Mars) should. Especially Red Mars.

My favorite was Thuvia, Maid of Mars.

I'd love to find a pic of that without the trailer,
that would make a great wallpaper. I just don't like the whole trailer-trash reference tied to the Southern Cross.
But that's just me, thats how I roll.

You are right, I should have said no known surface geothermal activity. I would think major activity (volcanic eruptions etc.) would have been detected. Geysers we might have to look a little closer for.

I live in Alabama and I have a thick skin. Never lived in a trailer but that is a CAMPER Mars Lander, not a mobile home.

Red Mars in 1992, Blue in 1994 and Green in 1996. I think. Red Mars won the Nebula award for 1992 (for best science fiction novel) and Blue won the Hugo award (for same thing.) For those who don't know, those are prestigious awards for science fiction. They deal with the colonization and then terraforming of Mars in the not-too-distant future. Thick books, but quick reads.

The CEO has to be very creative. As I determined that you were more creative than me, I made the right decision!

No but I will. Thanks

All of The Burroughs Mars books were written around the end of WWI. I read them in the early 70's, pure fantasy and per his style, Tarzan, racy for their time. I'll have to check these out.

It's funny how few people realize that CFO is the cool job. CEO is the jester to the king. But I like the hat and the shoes.

The one named John Carter of Mars was the 11th of the Mars series. I read them all in order of the date they were written (19teens) back in the early 70s.

Tell that to Steven Ballmer of Microsoft....net worth 12.8 billion!
The CFO is just the guy who woos Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves on Wall Street:)
