Afraid of being rude or a bother!

Contact them again. Make them sick of hearing from you!

Pick up that phone, soldier!

If your at work, use a phone card. Don't have a phone card, make the call anyway!

I have also sent numerous emails and letters to those two over the years. Just sent them another one yesterday. It's tough being behind enemy lines.

As things stand now, I am removing myself and my wife is also, from the Republican party. As we said, if the Republicans, after 30 fucking years of hard work and fighting for gun rights, can't do this, about the AWB, they can shove it right up their collective asses.

Submitted:

It is time to allow the Clinton Assault Weapons Ban to expire. It stands as a symbol of that administration: hand wringing sanctimony over appearance, self-righteous rhetoric having nothing to do with facts, the well-crafted illusion of serving the public's interest ultimately accomplishing...nothing. Letting this affront to liberty pass into history will not mean you were for “for” armed mayhem in the streets; it will mean you made a stand for truth in government and trust in America’s citizens. Australia has suffered escalating crime rates ever since its government took a path toward disarming its people. Great Britain is in even deeper trouble. We differ because our freedoms are not “granted” by the government but recognized by the founders as originating with the citizens. Please help keep what is left of their dream alive.

Thank you for your time on this matter.

Bump;

Tried calling, but all circuits were busy, so I logged on to the NRA website and sent an email. It is one of several I have sent over the past two weeks to both my senators. It is pretty hopeless as they are democratic party machine candidates. At least I will have the opportunity to vote against one of them this year and support their candidate. I have a feeling that the phone lines are overloaded. From the other Washington, the State

52 to 48 in favor of feinstein amendment.

We have to kill this bill or we have to count on the conference committee to wipe it out. F*******ck.

To: RockChucker; All
Text of the Second Amendment
"A well regulated Militia
being necessary to the security of a free State,
the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."

Anyone who actually reads AND understands the 2nd Amendment will see that there is no need or authority for any type of gun registration and there is no need for anyone to have to apply for a license to carry a gun.
Any political party, politician, judge (etc), organization or individual who trys to convince you that:
1) you must register a firearm
2) you must pass a background check
3) you must wait (x) amount of days before you can get your firearm
4) you need to have a license to carry a gun
is either uneducated about OUR rights as citizens
OR is actively working to undermine OUR country.

How Did the Founders Understand the Second Amendment?

CONGRESS in 1866, 1941 and 1986 REAFFIRMS THE SECOND AMENDMENT
The Bill of Rights, including the Second Amendment right to keep and bear firearms,
originated in the United States Congress in 1789 before being ratified by the States.
On three occasions since then--in 1866, 1941, and 1986--
Congress enacted statutes to reaffirm this guarantee of personal freedom
and to adopt specific safeguards to enforce it.

ON THE DAY BEFORE Thanksgiving 1993,
the 103d US Congress brought forth a constitutional turkey.
The 103d Congress decided that the Second Amendment did not mean what it said
("...shall not be infringed") and passed the Brady bill.

How the Brady Bill Passed (and subsequently - "Instant Check")
When the Brady Bill was passed into law on November 24, 1993,
the Senate voted on the Conference Report
and passed the Brady Bill by UNANIMOUS CONSENT.

Mine too. Even though it surely won't affect their votes, we should still flood them with protests. If you want to email the two witches here you go:

Boxer

Feinstein

They WILL attempt to take ALL of our guns if allowed to do so.
