Hitting the good points on the number of crimes committed with all otehr weapons vs. the miniscule number committed with semi-auto weapons.

What's the status on the vote. Is it being delayed for the talking heads?

Hatch pointed out that weapons under the AWB are not really assault weapons, they just happen to look like military weapons but do not operate as such. Also says knives kill five times more people, both now and 10 years ago when AWB was put in.

Talking about only law abiding citzens are punished by AWB. Calls it gun owner registration.

Hatch said that this Amendment will result in gun registration.
"If a person goes to a gun show, he will be filed as a Gun Vendor in the Federal Registry FOREVER."
To: Monty22
Hatch has his head wired correctly on this issue. Going over the falicy in the lefts logic about gun shows and the non-existant "loophole".

Huh? For just atttending? Or for selling a gun at a show? Is this gonna be another one of those things that we won't know what it really says until after the GPO gets off its ass and updates the website?

Reed just said there wasn't a registration requirement. Then again, he's lied about damn near everything else. Scum...

Reed-D arguing for background checks at gun shows. Says Feds have three days but hardly ever takes that long.

Most likely they mean for selling a gun at a show, maybe even from your house eventually?

It COULD be the NICs record. Run the check and the BATFE holds on to it despite what their mandate says they are supposed to do. We've been po'ed about them doing that for years.

Reed-D says gun shows are exploited by criminals. Supermarket for firearms to be obtained without background checks. Says neon sign could say come here to buy guns if you can't get them legally.

He just said it doesn't include language that would require it from selling from your private collection from your home. Then again, his lips were moving.
