Many vets are asking questions about Kerry's tour of duty and some of the answers dont add up. But they are attacked for questioning a war hero...Hmmmm....John, we just want to know.

He doesn't want anyone to know that he got a PW for that gash on his forehead when he stood up in the wheelhouse too quickly. Or the shaving nick or the ingrown toenail.

The best reply to Kerry's accusations of witnessing rapes and shooting dogs, etc came from a Green Beret who called Kerry "a liar" and said if he truly had witnessed any of that, as an officer, he was obligated to stop it or at the least to report it. He did neither. Here is the article.

Ah,I hate say this about a guy who lost three limbs fighting for his country (I really do), but I'm coming to the conclusion that max cleland's lid is not on tight any more.

I'm thinking just maybe it's not anything to do with his Purple Hearts, but something else he's covering up. Such as that he had VD.

Thanks. I saw that. I don't know if you remember it better than I remember it and I don't know if I remember it exactly right because I'm not sure when I first heard it, but as I recall someone once said something exactly like or approximately like, "War is hell!"
I'll bet whoever said that was right about whatever war he was talking about and it probably even applies to all the wars. ;-)

Good ole Max is gettin' mighty testy I see. He has been in that mode ever since he got put out of office partly because he the fact that he hid a lie about the circumstances of his war wounds throughout his first and only successful run for the Senate. But he lost mainly because he is a political soulmate of John Kerry. You can be that way and get elected again and again in Mass, but not so here in Georgia.

Its fair game to see how someone got 3 purple hearts yet hardly spent any time in the hospital seeing how Kerry himself has made this the center-piece of his campaign.
To: treeclimber
Of course not. Wouldn't want anyone to know that it was all a fraud, would we?
To: treeclimber
Shut up Max.

The point of full disclosure of Kerry's medical records is that Kerry initiated a request to curtail his tour in Vietnam based on his three wounds, which won him Purple Hearts. It appears that Kerry used the letter of the administrative regulation rather than the intent to leave his "band of brothers" behind. In addition to his medical records, Kerry should release his entire service record.

"Sen. Cleland, who lost three limbs in Vietnam but never received a Purple Heart, said Kerry's physical sacrifice had been just as great as his own, telling Malzberg, "I don't see any difference.""
I never thought about it or noticed that Cleland is never touted as "highly decorated" therefore never received a purple heart since his wounds were self-inflicted because he relaxed at the wrong time.
