What this really means is that Kerry would have to pick off Florida *or* Missouri *or* New Hampshire and Nevada *and* win every state he's already projected to win in order to top Bush.
So the question is "where will the Democrat Vote Fraud Machine (tm) sink all their marbles? My bet is Florida or Missouri. Particularly Missouri if Gephardt gets the Veep nod. A Boss Pendergast revisited.
I don't think they're going to test Ohio which has too many Republicans in key positions to pull off the heist.

They could try it in Michigan this year. there were clearly problems with the caucus, but little or no intrest if fixing the problem.
Seems to me that knowing theres a problem and refusing to fix it can be a very effective crisis maker in the future.

The Ohio gop are mostly RINO.
I'm an Ohioan and a good percentage of the population here are P.O.'d over the massive tax increases we've had shoved down our throats.
Ohio could very well be THE battleground state.

In past years, you would be correct about St.Louis. 25K "dual residents," polls staying open longer in Democrat precincts, dead voters, etc.etc. However, in 2002 election, AG Ashcroft and Sec. of State Matt Blunt had "observers" present. Read:FEC/FBI/MO HP,etc. They let it be known beforehand that said "observers" would be present. Very little fraud occured. Such will be the case again in November...
Also, Dems have been strangled by the CCW issue as well as our feckless Governors' withholding of dollars for education. His pandering to union bosses, i.e. forcing ALL state employees to pay union dues whether they are in a union or not. And giving bigger raises to union members than non-union members (state employees). I put Missouri in Republican basket. It went for GWB last time and will again. If not? All is lost as Missouri usually picks the winner in Pres. elections.

Gephardt will not be Kerry's running mate. Gephardt's political career is over and he offers nothing to the ticket. He barely made a ripple in Iowa this year and I don't think he could deliver Missouri even if he was on the ticket.

if Gephardt gets the Veep nod Truthfully, I'd rather see Gephardt get the nod than Edwards. What do you all think?

Particularly Missouri if Gephardt gets the Veep nod. Gephardts never held statewide office here. His congressional district has been gerrymandered so the demographics always favored him. He would get little support outside the St. Louis and KC areas.
If President Bush were to lose Missouri, he would have probably lost other close states like Ohio, West Virginia, New Hampshire, and maybe even Florida.
