Even my matinee price here was 8 dollars!Gee, in Seattle, where they routinely charge $4 for a cup of coffee, I paid $5.75 for the 4pm matinee.
It will be a sunny day in Seattle before I pay 8 bucks for a matinee!

We still just pay $6.50 for a evening movie here, less for earlier ones.
