I know, and the issue of outsourcing is hardly a black/white one. I'm just amused when fellow freepers end up on the same side as Chuckie.

Make no mistake, nobody here is on "the same side as Chuckie".
That quote may make a good sound bite, but you have to remember what Chuckie really means. The only reason he now has a problem with free trade is because it's now annoying his constituents. And what do you think his solution would be?
If you said "more government interference", you would be absolutely correct.

RE: "I'm just amused when fellow freepers end up on the same side as Chuckie."
I know what you mean. But this is not amusing.
The Chi-coms benefit and very much appreciate our version of "free" trade. I am equally surprised how many here in these threads end up on their side. That definitely is not amusing.
I consider the Chi-coms to be an enemy of America namely because that is how they often describe themselves -- and they have nukes pointed at us and our forces.
Though hardly communists nevertheless some here support their side of the "free" trade debates on these threads. Go figure.

Chuckie is one of them responsible for it happening. He is just pandering for votes.

Just because Chuckie is a lib or a dem doesn't make him automatically wrong. We stand on issues one way or the other based on the issue, not who is for or against it. The logic of your argument would have it that the VW Beetle is evil because Hitler was for it. Smell the contents of your shovel.
