Does the YMCA offer the same facilities and benefits to the Boy Scouts of America?

Would they do so to the Amer Communist Party? Black Panthers? rainbow coalition?

Probably NO to the BSA and yes to the others.

So, if the KKK wanted to rent a YMCA, is that OK too? If the Y wants to take a "we don't have any opinion" stand, then they can't turn away anyone. But I doubt that is the case.

As it stands, if the Y will not take any stand, then they might as well take the "C" out of your title. And I say that as a 10 year board member at my local YMCA. I am tired of all the "political correctness" of this "service organization" mentality. It is time for th YMCA to decide if it is to join the ranks of the YWCA and Girl Scouts, or will it actually take a 'stand' as the Boy Scouts, Salvation Army and others have, showing conviction and not just political correctness.
