Peanut Butter, left, and Jelly were joined at the side of the belly near the tail end.

When conjoined, the two tortoises struggled with one on its back and the other trying to kick itself over.

Peanut Butter, left, and Jelly remained close after an operation to save them.

Wow, when they ask "Have you seen EVERYTHING?", I can now say yes, I have seen everything. It was nice of those folks to go to that expense for those turtles. Amazing that those turtles survived as long as they did while conjoined. Hope they both live long separate lives.
