The writer makes the apt comment on the difference between Perle and Frum. Why Perle would choose the Canadian poseur as an ally suggests that the former has lost any sense, assuming he had some, from his days as an aid in Washington.

I do not know whether or not Karl Rove had a hand in having this book written. He has definitely had a hand in promoting the idiotic idea of imposing Democracy on Third World peoples. (See Karl Rove--Dysron, Quack Or Mole.) Without Rove's strange antics behind the scenes, virtually no one of importance would be seriously considering the Frum-Perle theories. Anyone with any familiarity with American Political history would understand what a disaster their arrogant stupidity would invite for any political party that embraced it. (American boys dying to prove a hair-brained academic theory? I don't think that any rational person believes that that would fly.)

I guess I should also post a link to a specific discussion in depth of the concept of imposing Democracy in the Third World: Democracy In The Third World.

Perhaps David Frum, who left one home land, to come here, could be persuaded to move on again, and explain to the Haitians the benefits of Democracy under Aristide. I'd contribute to his plane fare down there.
