Home invasion rocks peaceful neighborhood

Lawrenceville's Oakland Walk community, scene of a home invasion robbery Wednesday morning, just isn't the type of place where crime comes knocking, one of the subdivision's residents says.
"Very quiet," said Dee Hodges, who has lived there nearly five years. "Nothing ever goes on."
The tranquility she cherishes was shattered when five men burst into a home around the corner from Hodges, tied up two women and a 6-year-old girl who live there, and demanded money, jewels and CDs. The suspects, armed with handguns, entered the two-story house through a back entrance, and fled in the residents' white 1997 Plymouth minivan, police said.
Three other children living in the home were not harmed, police said.
One of the women told police that she was sexually assaulted during the attack, Gwinnett police Sgt. Richard Long said.
Police have not identified the women or children, but say it's possible the victims know their assailants.

The leftist AJ-C won't report that the perps are Latinos, probably gang members that have been active for some time in Gwinnett County. We get that info from radio and word of mouth from the good people in Lawrencville.

Yes, Kennesaw is well defended, just common sense.
Don't Kennesaw's crime stats get contrasted with an Illinois [?] small town that disallowed firearms in the home at the same time that Kennesaw passed their pro-defence law?

Not sure I get your point but comment #2 laid out how Kennesaw, GAs crime rate is so low because every household is required to have a firearm.
So there, the perps might well have been hurt or killed in the robbery.
PS - the AJ-C article called a case of rape "sexual assault." Give me a break, just report the facts, please.

They're just doing the crimes Americans won't do for themselves.
Think of it as another gift to you from the Open Borders/Amnesty crew.

Too bad the homeowner wasn't appropriately armed to deal with the situation.

These hardworking undocumented immigrants are just doing the home invasions and sexual assaults Americans won't do.

Our local newspapers just cover up the crime and don't report it at all.

Criminals are basically stupid. If they were intelligent they would realize that a $1,000 heist paid for by a year in jail averages out to less than a dishwasher's wages.
But they have a low sort of cunning cleverness. They attack 'soft targets' by preference, they only attack the armed and ready by mistake.
One of my uncles, a 'yellow-dog democrat' if there ever was one, told me that I was performing a public service by having a concealed weapons permit.

Some folks say why highlight this particular crime when crimes happen daily all over committed by regular Americans.
Why? To address the fact that America's immigration policy should not favor importing a significant number of largely poor, uneducated people and, in many cases, people angry against white America.
The culture in Mexico and other S.A. countries is one of rich vs poor with little middle level wealth. Bribes and crimes is the norm for getting ahead. Kidnapping Americans for ransom is common.
So it's easy to foresee that such policy is only begging for trouble. Poor + angry + proud Mexicans = people heeding the inflamed rhetoric of the Atzlaners and the MeCHA crowd and the Americans who side with them.

Our local newspapers just cover up the crime and don't report it at all.The story was buried in the Gwinnett County section of the paper. If you live in another county, you don't get the Gwinnett County section, you get your county section.
Rape, assault, home invasion, burglary - all prosecuted as a gang activity should be of interest to the region as a whole.
