Ther article says it is not Jeanine Harms, but does not say how that was deterimined, since it is an adult female who died two or three years ago.

Authorities quickly ruled out the possibility the remains belonged to Jeanine Sanchez Harms of Los Gatos, who was 42 when she disappeared in July 2001 after a night out with friends in Campbell, Helm said.

Because the bones were in good condition, authorities believe the woman died about two or three years ago, Helm said.

Doing the math here, July 2001 would be two and a half to three years ago.

At any given time, there are over 50 serial killers at "work" in the United States alone. At least that's what I learned in school when I was working on my degree in Criminal Justice. Likely, this is the work of one of these sickos. Too bad she wasn't armed and ready to use it. I always say: "If OJ's victim had been through my firearms course, she'd be a rich widow, today."
