I hope Mr.Robinson and his moderator(s)will see their way to allow you to continue posting. I think your public statement above deserves consideration by the founder and his agents.Jim's got his rules, but he can be pretty fair-minded. Mom-Grandmother was always a pretty decent poster, unless I'm remembering someone else....

Well, I've learned something new on this thread. I always thought it was TOE the line, as in a race, where your toes are right up to, but not touching the line, or you're disqualified. Thanks for increasing my wisdumb.;^)

Probably got in trouble about the same time others like Nukem did.

That account was banned/suspended.
I was perusing the remarks, and while she is staunchly emotional in her responses, I don't see anything glaringly damning enough to ban her.
Sheesh! Was a mod hormonal?

Did you look at the very top of the thread? Where it says Mom_Grandmother?

In any case, it sounds like she was banned in the just-post 9/11 period, when things were very touchy. Lot's of people were banned at that time for posting "nuke'em all" sentiments. I was nearly banned myself, but probably not because I had an earlier starting date.Maybe. I know I also crossed the line a lot in those very emotional months after 9/11. Since then, I've done a lot of growing and learning. Yes, we are in a culture Cold War with Islam, and yes it may possibly be becoming a Hot War someday, but right now it isn't, and we shouldn't be posting like it is.

I heard that even Lodwick has been banned, well temporarily anyway. I have no idea why. He is an FR fixture and always has something positive to say. I have never heard him say anything remotely out of line. Go figure. You can always tell when it's election season around here.

I don't mean to be so mean, I wish you could have known me before we lost our son That line broke my heart dear lady. I'm sorry for your loss.
Maybe Jim will let you come back and we can keep you company again. But you'd better get his name right, it's Jim Robinson.

OK y'all. What does "abusing the side-bar" mean?It usually involves almond oil.
And a monkey.
And a vaccuum cleaner.
And lots and lots of alcohol.
And a small alpaca.
And a minivan.
