My point exactly. If Clinton acted after the first WTC bombing attempt in 1993 with some unclear leads to Iraq, the Left here and in Europe would say nothing. They would applaud.

I don't think Gore would act as Bush did. BUT for the sake of the argument, IF he did mirror all actions taken by Bush, there would be no anti-war movement of any significance, and Buchanan isolationists would be jointly ridiculed by Democrats and Republicans.

Sharp politicanization of all policies is terrible for this country and the whole world. Whatever left of the reason and common sense is getting destroyed in this hysteria.

Faction is destroying the American Republic in the same manner it destroyed the Roman Republic - primarily through lawsuits and the courts.

In contemporary life, the state is now seen by both major parties as a necessary tool of social and economic advancement - in a word, socialism.

Two socialist parties squabbling over loot - that's the reality.
