Um... before being so generous, I really recommend you read the article ;) This "guy" is beyond... beyond. If you're figuring that he's "only" as bad as, say, Maureen Dowd, you're highly overestimating him. IMO, Morford is, literally, the worst of the worst of the worst among Leftist degenerates in journalism.

He's probably insensed that so many people are wanting to see this, because it testifies to the fact that a large segment of the American population is religious, in a non-namby-pamby way, and that their social goals are in direct conflict to his own.

He's comfortable w/Jesus the Wimp, created by all the veggie-smoothie, 'Jesus would have been a democrat if he were alive today' folk. He doesn't care much for the Jesus who said 'I bring a sword, not peace.'
