Whether or not the media realizes it, Kerry's aura of invincibility has been punctured. If Edwards has time to penetrate it further, the voters might just see that in Kerry there is just no "there" there. Another Limbaugh on drugs? The race is over. Kerry is the nominee. Limbaugh should know better than to buy into the media hype, which is designed to keep the free publicity going until Super Tuesday. Time to ignore all of this and concentrate on the election: Bush versus Kerry.

I think Edwards still has a chance, and I think that would be bad news for Bush. Kerry is very vulnerable on a host of issues, whereas Edwards is the kind of glib, attractive Southerner who disarms a lot of Middle Americans and soccer moms. He would be a more formidable oppenent than Kerry, and I hope the Dems don't figure that out before it's too late.
