One of my happiest days was when my teens received their driver's licenses (and most worrisome). I could finally send them to the store to buy groceries, toilet paper, and sundries. This story qualifies for the most ridiculous item of the day!

When toilet paper is outlawed, only outlaws will have toilet paper.

Wow, that is ridiculous. Of course, one of my son's teenage friends was able to go to a Meijers grocery store and buy a large package of over the counter cold medicine, got so high off it that he ended up passed out on the sidewalk, only to be arrested shortly after. BUT DON'T LET THE KIDS BUY A 12 PACK OF TOILET PAPER! How about we just ban kids under 18 from shopping at any store! They could buy something to hurt themselves or pull a childish prank! (sarcasm)

If I had grown up in Chillicothe, my youth would have been one big police blotter under these rules. ;-)

"a manager told her the four-roll limit was a city ordinance."
That law isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

I imagine that if the girls had come in to buy a 12 pack of condoms, Kroger would not have given it a second thought.

Pretty crappy deal if you ask me. :-)

Did the store post signs "Illegal for people under 21 to buy over 4 rolls of TP"?

There should be a 5 day waiting period on TP purchases !

We used to laugh at the Soviet Union where people would hoard toilet paper, or line up for blocks for the chance to buy some.
In the US, we have as much toilet paper as we could want -- yet the Rules determine who can buy it.
