Anti-abortion New York Democrats have affiliated with a group that includes party members from seven other states.

The Rochester-based Democrats For Life of New York, which held a news conference in Albany Tuesday, is making the case that the Democratic Party has gone too far in embracing abortion rights.

The group, which lists former Rep. John LaFalce, of Buffalo, among its members, also opposes the death penalty and euthanasia.

Why are they now realizing they went too far on abortion rights? And you're right, I didn't think I'd see that headline.

Not that this will stop them from voting for pro-abort liberal Democrats, we hasten to add...

It will take an outright religious conversion to convince this anti-abortion advocate that this is non other than another outright scam to collect votes.

Can we get a CBO score on what gay marriage would COST the treasury. I am not sure the government can afford the cost of adding to the roll of married tax benafactors.
Yep gay marriage (as tax cuts in general ...forgetting for purpose of this argument that tax cuts always have INCREASED receipts)
How much faster would social security go broke by adding all these new couples to the benefit rolls.
WE JUST CAN'T AFFORD IT !

Yes, there are pro-Life Democrats. Not not all liberals believe in abortion. But they don't have a voice in their party which is smothered by the grip the pro-choice lobby has on it.

I remember the late Democrat Gov. Bob Casey of PA, who was pro-life, and wanted to address the DNC convention but was turned down....the same year that the pro-abortion Republican woman spoke at the RNC committee.

Well, when about 8 out of 10 people oppose partial birth abortion, and all the Democratic Presidential Candidate support partial birth abortion, you know there has to be quite of few Democrats that think their party is out of touch.
