Your right. I also forgot pool cues, beer bottles/glass, rope, pillows, blankets, bridges, waterfalls, pools, tubs, solid foods. Hmmm, what else did we miss?

Hmmm, what else did we miss? Well, there is those 5 gallon pales that kill more little babies than guns.
And what about doctors? Doctors kill about 25,000 a year through mis-diagnose, negligence, etc. Better ban doctors.
Did anybody mention Teddy Kennedy's Oldsmobile?

Daschel is up, this should be good.
Just watch out for lighten strikes.

Doctors errors and negligence took over 90,000 in the year 2000. Total firearms related deaths including suicides was about 36,000.

"Defective gun that injures a child"
That means a gun that isn't so encumbered with safety devices that it actually fires.

Daschale wants the amendments up. Let's do it and get the votes done and over with, then sent to conference committee.

Water, shellfish, dogs, axes, and rocks are a few more. Give these guys the window and they will find a way to regulate every aspect of life.

Bill to be presented within the hour and one or more amendments presented and voted upon tonight. No mnetion of AWB amendment yet, only the Daschel amendment which the GOP has thus far supported.

I want to know what their definition of "defective" is.
If it is that you can't clear the chamber with the safety on, then it is a set up hose job for us.

He did not give all its details and I only could hear a portion of it and than Sen. Craig gave his support. It allows for existing lawsuits to be able to proceed if they are legitimate gun defect claims. They dd not indicate if this was defective manufacture or design. It should be voted down if it is based on so called defective design.
To: IGOTMINE
Very good point, the bill better spell out the "defective" means it literally malfunctions, an that defective can never mean a lack of "features", or the wrong shade of red for on the safety indicator, etc.
