Thank you for posting this thread. I will be seeing the movie as soon as I can--it's here but so far all of the shows are sold out. A man in our area bought out an entire 20 screen theater (4500 seats) and gave away the tickets which were snatched up almost overnight. He got thousands of requests from others. Amazing how you can't buy a seat to a movie "nobody will go see"!!

I hope many hearts will be turned to the Lord as on the Day of Pentecost: "'Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.' Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, 'Men and bretheren, what shall we do?' Amen Sister Donaeus. I'm looking forward to seeing this movie, but also dreading it. I wanted to see it today, but Tim is out of town and I won't see it without him. He gets back Friday night so maybe Saturday we can see it.

Maybe so many were cut to the heart the Day of Pentecost because they had seen him hanging, or heard about it, or maybe they were in the crowd yelling at Pilate. I saw a 4 minute clip a few months ago and it ripped me to pieces. It made even the smallest sin less tempting. When you see and know what your sins caused, it makes you run to goodness and turning from temptation so much easier.
