I've come to the conclusion that the whole article is one big typo. :)

"a dark skinned Hebrew Israelite from Northern Africa "
This blather from black racists NEVER stops.
"All the Egyptians were black. All North Africans were and are black. Hebrews were black because they came from Egypt. The Greeks learned everything from black Egyptians. Hannibal was black. If someone isn't a blonde, blue-eyed Norweigan, they are, by definition black."
Personally, Jesus' Life and message were more important than his skin pigmentation or lack therof.
But for the benefit of the black racists out there, if there are any, the Hebrews were Semites. The Semites were Caucasoids. That means that they had Caucasian features, not Negroid features (sorry to use that term, but "black" and "white" simply have no real releveance in this discourse.) North Africans that lived along the Mediterranean were also Caucasoids, not Negroid. Hannibal was a Cathaginian. Carthaginians were Phoenician colonists in North Africa, and hence were Semites and Caucasoids, not Negroids. The Ancient Egyptians were mainly Caucasoids, but there was a strong Negroid element present, especially in the southern part near Kush - modern day Sudan and southern Egypt. There was even a black pharaonic dynastry but they were from Kush. Looking at Egyptian statuary and paintings, the people were Caucasiod and Negroid. The Ancient Egyptians usually painted themselves brown or red-brown for Egyptian men and yellow or white for Egyptian women. When they meant to portray Negroid Ancient Egyptians or Kushites, you could tell clearly from their appearance. And then there were obvious mixtures of the two, some of which appear even as pharoahs.
The Berbers, the indigenous people of northern Africa along the Mediterranean Coast were Caucasoid, so were the ancient Libyans.
Having said all that, these people had darker complections than most Europeans and dark hair and eyes, although there were exceptions at both ends of the pigmentation spectrum - people moved around even back then, and miscegenation was not considered a crime or looked down upon in any way.
For instance, the Ancient Egyptians did not view the world in terms of black and white, but in terms of Egyptian ans Non-Egyptian. And Moses had a Kushite wife.
I wish these idiot racists would crawl back under whatever rock they were hiding under. They have more in common with the Ku Klux Klan and the Aryan Nation than they would like to admit. The only distinction lies in pigmentation, not thought processes.

Thanks! And a very good post. The racists on both the Negroid and Caucasian sides really do try to paint everything, even God.

They could have settled the fracas by giving Al Sharpton an extras part. ;-)
