That's not the half of it. Your basic Canadian Liberal (say a Peter Jennings, a Morley Safer, a Mike Wallace) is just a tad to the left of Trotsky. These people are the New World branch of the British loony left.

Real nut cases, like Kerry, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi. Politically speaking, our neighbour to the north is an icey asylum for socialist crackpots. Conservative electoral win? Don't bet on it, eh?
