Yes, they both claimed that he was abusive under the influence of alcohol; however, when the dastardly deed was done, she and her mother were the only two present and neither one would talk about it afterwards. I'm sure about five other people told you already but yes she was. I think pummeling one's mother in front of a child is abuse. Her father's temper was legendary and her mum blew his brains out one night. I even went read Sarie Magazine to find out, and it's all hush-hush but I can see where Charlize gets her inspiration from.
