I agree with you. The people who are critisizing this movie for not telling the real story of Christ, in their words, are the liberal churches, for one. I saw the United Methodists spokesman on the news, and he said that the resurrection was secondary.
I couldn't believe it.
I have also noticed the Mormon church having this reaction.
I'm not saying they are 'less holier than me', for not feeling as moved by this. But I find it very interesting.
This movie is not afraid to call Jesus/Yeshua the Messiah.
Are there any Messianic Jews out there? I like talking to you guys.;-)

Best friend from college is a gentile who joined the MJ's, and is now a "rabbinical assistant", which is as high as you can rise without actually being Jewish. He has a very deep faith, and a wonderful mission, bringing Grace and the "fulfillment of the Law" to those who will listen. Very cool.
