First, you never did answer my question. "Are you aware of any Libertarians who would make this activity illegal for a parent to do?"

Second, my quote is from the Libertarian Party platform. Do you support the position that children "have the right to establish their maturity by assuming administration and protection of their own rights, ending dependency upon their parents or other guardians, and assuming all responsibilities of adulthood"?

Do you support the position calling for "the repeal of all laws establishing criminal or civil penalties for the use of drugs"?

Do you support the position calling for "the repeal of all laws regarding consensual sexual relations, including prostitution and solicitation"?

All of the above is in the Libertarian platform -- don't berate sully777 for listing it.

First of all, yes - This is child abuse. In the case of giving a 4 yr old a glass of whiskey, this would be abusive. In the case of the article, I doubt you'd find anyone who would say that forcing your 15 yr old daughter to have sex is a good thing to do.

Do you support the position that children "have the right to establish their maturity by assuming administration and protection of their own rights, ending dependency upon their parents or other guardians, and assuming all responsibilities of adulthood"?

Again, please keep this in context. At 15 yrs old, a child is not an adult. However, if a child is old enough to marry, to own a home, to raise a family, to enter into a legally binding contract, to serve in the armed forces, to kill or be blown to bits ... he is old enough to drink.

Do you support the position calling for "the repeal of all laws establishing criminal or civil penalties for the use of drugs"?

Absolutely, again this would apply to adults and not for children. In the history of mankind, Prohibition has NEVER worked.

Do you support the position calling for "the repeal of all laws regarding consensual sexual relations, including prostitution and solicitation"?

Again, yes; provided that children are not subjected to exploitation and abuse.

All of the above is in the Libertarian platform -- don't berate sully777 for listing it.

If things are placed out of context, with the intent to deceive; I most certainly will blame you or anyone else. Words mean things, and misleading and outright falsehoods will continue to be lamblasted.
