It was still the 25th here when it flared...that one goes in my shibbolith pile too. How soon do we know if communications will be zapped? They won't be. According to Spaceweather.com, there wasn't much of a Coronal Mass Ejection, the burst of energetic particles that causes communications problems here on Earth.
