If nothing comes of this, people are going to be laughing when AQ releases tapes. Well don't start laughing yet. This/these tapes and islamic threats on various websites maybe some of their tactics in order to get our attention while they hit us in a totally different manner.

I am with you there, and I'm not laughing.
But aren't their threat's being laughed at, in essence, by their own chosen outlet?
When Al Jazeera doesn't give the tapes enough importance to even air the majority of the tape, why should anyone take them seriously?
This isn't the first time Al Jazeera has decided not to play the whole tape. The last time they didn't play the whole tape, they were supposedly given a good dressing down by AQ, as reported on many links on this thread.
Apparently, Al Jazeera doesn't much care what AQ has to say anymore.
In light of that, how worried should we be by the appearance of not one, but two tapes on the same day?
Perhaps very because, as has been noted, if they don't produce on at least some of these threats, they won't be taken seriously anymore.
I guess my question is, have we already crossed that line? How seriously do we need to take these threats in light of recent advances made by our guys and AQ's seeming impotence?
