You know that was a very cute rant, but I think that Mrs. Xtrmst had a good point. France has been a big part of the problem, some think enemy, in the war on terrorism. It looks like they might actually be waking up to their own safty now that the cloud that was obscuring their morals (money from the UN food for oil kick-backs) has been eleminated with no chance for returning. This is an intresting development in their new foreign policy.

That comment she made had nothing to do with the mindset of muslims terrorist, it was a comment on France.

That's the difference between the ETA, IRA, and similar groups, and AQ. The former have a discrete politcial goal, and killing innocent civilians is often collateral to the real target or is deemed a necessary evil to achieve the political objective.
