I'm not going to quit using eggs - they are a staple in my house. I am, however, going to be more wary about buying them if they come from three states over or anywhere too far away from home. Raw eggs - yuckky!

By the same token, does Mad Cow Disease affect cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese and other milk products? Do we have any way of knowing that yet? Supposedly it involves only the sinewy and muscle meat of the cow, however, they also told us there were far less cows affected then they now say. What is known about this seems to be an ongoing thing.

So....pasturizing might not be affective?
