Worldwide Earthquake Activity in the Last Seven Days
http://neic.usgs.gov/neis/bulletin/ Once you start looking at the info. and magnitude of quakes for the past week....it seems like there have been quite a few quakes recently....but then again I haven't been looking at this site on a regular basis, so maybe it is more common than I thought.

I've looked at these reports too.
What I found interesting was the line of quakes running from southern California up through Utah to Yellowstone.
