Good collection of links.

Thank you for finding them.

Hawaii is sure getting the attention, 2 scuba divers and now the fence.

having worked with chicken wire, I can promise you that this is not a fun job they have taken on and it took several men hours to do it.

I will now don my tin foil and say, "watch for the chicken
diseases, they will be there shortly.

My other tin foil thought, was that they were getting ready for bringing in troops, or scuba divers and wanted the area open and easy access.

As much damage as they have done, it is beyond kids, they would not have cut the wire rolls into 10' sections, someone does not want the fence fixed quickly.

It may take several days or even weeks to find enough wire on the islands to fix it with. I doubt that all that much is available in Hawaii.

WHY?

You're very astute.
WHY is the question and a very important one, too.
WHO is the question that should get the utmost attention and is right up there with WHY.

Another thing that caught my attention was the fence housed ducks. I seem to recall (correct me if I'm in error about this) about 2 months or so, more or less, that ducks had to be destroyed in Tawaiin because they eithehr had West Nile Viror or Avian Bird disease.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Bird flu killed three house cats near the capital, Bangkok, Thai officials reported on Friday. Veterinarians urged residents to stay away from their cats if there were chickens living nearby. Chickens and ducks have been the main victims of bird flu.

Health experts are concerned that if bird flu sickens other animals, it could mutate into a strain more easily passed on to humans".

The boy died late Saturday at a hospital in the country's northeast, where he'd been in intensive care after testing positive for the avian flu virus on Thursday, said Charal Trinvuthipong, director-general of the Public Health Ministry's Department of Communicable Disease Control.

The disease is now confirmed in six human deaths in Thailand and 14 in Vietnam."
