Ethanol tanker explodes off Virginia coast -
A tanker carrying industrial ethanol exploded and sank about 50 miles off the Virginia coast Saturday night, the Coast Guard said. At least two of the 27 crew members aboard were killed, and rescue crews were still searching for 19 others.

This explosion sounds odd to me, how often does a fuel tanker ship explode? Very rarely. And, if heading from NY to Houston, they must have loaded the ethanol somewhere in NY, no?? Where do they offload stuff like this, could be New Jersey also.
Perhaps this was a timer situation gone awry. If not intentional then their safety situation must have been terrible and never allowed to enter our waters anyway!!
Add in the ferry in the Philippines going down and now Abu Sayef taking credit for that, kind of makes you wonder.
