February 24, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has dispatched the elite commando force that hunted down Saddam Hussein to Afghanistan for a new operation aimed at getting Osama bin Laden, officials said yesterday. Military sources confirmed that members of the shadowy Task Force 121, the unit that conducted the high-tech search for Saddam and his henchmen, have recently begun operating in the remote mountainous region along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border where bin Laden and key al Qaeda and Taliban fugitives are believed to be hiding. The Task Force is made up of highly trained Delta and SEAL commandos, as well as CIA paramilitary operators. It operates outside normal military channels.

Don't know if I will ever eat sausage again.

I always figured he fed the bodies to the hogs.

Ours would catch the live chickens and eat them.

The total destruction of the world is predicted in 2006 on multiple sites and by various mediums, if you believe in that. I guess time will tell. If so, we've got some serious living to do!

Tribe Fined For Attack On Troops

By: Allah Noor Wazir

WANA: (South Waziristan Agency) – Taking stern notice of the attacks on Army Colony and para-military forces check-posts at Wana, the political authorities of South Waziristan Agency have fined the Ahmadzai Wazir tribe Rs 5.4 million for its failure to fulfil territorial responsibilities under the Frontier Crimes Regulations. The administration announced the fine against the Ahmadzai Wazir tribesmen in a jirga between the elders and political Agent Mohammad Azam Khan on Sunday. The two sides also discussed in depth the recent attacks on armed forces and official installations. The Ahmadzai Wazir tribe was fined Rs four million and its sub-clans Ashrafkhel and Malikkhel Rs 1.2 million and Rs 0.2 million respectively. The Sholam check-post is situated in the territory dominated by tribesmen from Ashrafkhel and Malikkhel.

The traditional tribal jirga will give its reply to the administration by Wednesday. It may be mentioned here that situation in the area dominated by Ahmadzai Wazir tribesmen in Wana, South Waziristan Agency, is deteriorating day by day. The mysterious mortar and rocket attacks on the check-posts and other government installations have increased while common tribesmen are unhappy over the frequent operations in the area in the name of war on terror.

Authorities renewed their warning to tribesmen to expel terrorists and hand over suspects, or face search operations by military forces that often end with tribal homes being demolished in punishment for harbouring militants. Harbourers also face the prospect of seven years jail and a fine of 1.5 million rupees. Ultra-conservative Pashtun tribes living in the border belt, sympathetic to the Taliban and Al-Qaeda fugitives, are believed to have provided them shelter since US-led forces invaded Afghanistan in late 2001 to topple the Taliban regime.

Tribesmen asked to hand over seven al-Qaeda harbourers

I think I've found about all the details is on this Wyoming EQ story now.

This is what I know.
My original post was wrong, the mystery quake was 5.3, not 6.5.
It occurred around Newcastle Wyoming on Feb. 6, 2004 at 19:03 GMT.
The event was recorded by at least 3 seismic monitoring agencies, one in the US (USGS), one in France, and the third one from South Dakota, (not a USGS site apparently).
Jim Berkland of www.syzygy.com has also chimed in saying he believes this was a real event.

The event occurred very far from where the elk deaths are occurring, so there is not likely to be any connection there.

Mitch Battros, of EarthchangesTV, is the person pursuing this story with the most zeal.
He contacted several officials at the USGS. He has an e-mail from one of them that states that this event was not an earthquake, but a mine blast. For that reason, the French agency was told to remove the quake from their records. It was also removed from USGS records.

When Mitch presented this explanation to other USGS officials, their response was that because of the magnitude of 5.3, there was no way this could have been a mine blast, unless it was a nuclear mine blast. So that's how the rumor of nuclear testing got started. It originated from conversations with the USGS.

It appears that something DID happen in the Newcastle area that registered 5.3, and the event was ordered expunged from seismic records by the USGS.

Most of this info came from this thread on the TB2000 board.
http://www.timebomb2000.com/vb/showthread.php?s=6045d100fa8be39c54c40936b2c462f0&threadid=93272&highlight=wyoming+earthquake

There was a suggestion on that thread the event was proof from AQ to our gov't that they did have nukes and could detonate them. Could this tie in to daleel's mentioning Yellowstone so much on his earlier threads?

My husband brought up the thought that possibly the superheated water (thermal) could contain chemicals harmful to animals or fish, aside from the heat of the water. It doesn't explain paralysis of the elk however. There's been no mention of other animals or birds affected to the best of my knowledge, which is what I find strange.

That's a real good question.

Yes, other dead animals would be expected.

Unless there is a cave or something that only the Elk use.

Years ago, there was a book from England that the Library had on Goats, seems there are herds that have gone wild and it told of a study on them.

It talked of the caves that they had gone to for years, 6 foot of manure built up in them and that there would be a lead Nanny Goat.

It talked about the diet and how they followed the same path
every day, eating a bite of this for a laxative, a bit more of that for the vitamins and something else for bulk.

Seems that if the young decided to not have his bite of the laxative, Nanny would "butt" him until he did.

It all made a lot of sense to me.

Which comes back to "if it is natural", then it is a cave or something.

I would expect to know where they slept, ate and spent their time, then I remember that we are talking about gov employees and then realize that they are for the checks, not the animals....

I had a herd of goats in the Black Mountains, and a run in with the wildlife fools. They think that MAYBE my milk goat will give the Big Horn Sheep a disease and admit that they have NO PROOF of it.

SO IF MY GOAT SET ONE FOOT OFF MY MOUNTAIN, THE GOV WOULD SHOOT THEM!!!!!!!!

And did to another man in the Black Mountains, 20 miles north of me.

All this so a rich man can go and shoot a Big Horn, for the horns to go on the wall, as the meat is not said to taste good. It would be very old to grow trophy horns.

OK, so, I will get off my soapbox.

I believe the Homeland Security Bill provides an avenue from blocking terror related incidents from being reported.

But they can't stop us from wondering about these things and trying to put the dots together.

Yes, we weave a tangled web and things seem to get worse every day. You would think we would run out of things that could threaten us, but no, this thread just keeps on ticking. I wish we could really figure out what these guys are trying to plan.

I did manage to hopefully get rid of a pedophile at our local library today. My friends children (girls) go there to do their homework on the computer because it's right next to her office. However, there has been a guy there looking at porn and ogling the children. Previous reports to the library were not dealt with by them.

Today I happened to be there and the kids came running saying he was there. We went over and they pointed him out, I could see on his computer screen pictures of girls and he appeared to be sending e-mails. He was very nervous and kept looking around at us. I think he realized we were watching him. I took the kids back to their Mom and I waited in the parking lot for him to come out. When he did I followed in my car until he got in his and I got his license number. So, we shall see where this goes. It's pathetic that our local libraries are open to any site these perverts want to visit.

The reason I mention this, is my immediate thought was of the terrorist jihadis sending their messages via the internet...how easy it is. You don't have to register at the library or give your name, you're free to do whatever you want for one hour at a time.

Excellent description of how a volcano works.

Now, can you see that I think it could be encouraged with a good blast, some place nearby and in the ground as deep as possible??

It could be that Daleel just happened on info about Yellow Stone such as the following which contains e-mails sent back in 2003: What Is Happening At Yellowstone?

Loftus on B&A very depressing.

The IAEA voted against Iran today and Iran is going to end it's cooperation with the IAEA. It will also ignore the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and continue to enrich uranium. The IAEA found 90% enriched uranium in Iran. The only purpose for uranium that highly enriched is in the production of nuclear weapons.

"The two main gases are carbon dioxide and sulfer dioxide. "

==

The volcanic gases are a plausible theory.

But obviously CO2 doesn't cause paralyis, all everyone on earth would be paralyzed, since the air we breathe has 0.03% CO2

Doesn't sound like sulphur dioxide causes it either.

The major health concerns associated with exposure to high concentrations of sulphur dioxide include effects on breathing, respiratory illness, alterations in pulmonary defenses, and aggravation of existing cardiovascular disease. In the atmosphere, sulphur dioxide mixes with water vapour producing sulphuric acid. This acidic pollution can be transported by wind over many hundreds of miles, and deposited as acid rain.

http://www.doc.mmu.ac.uk/aric/eae/Acid_Rain/Older/Sulphur_Dioxide.html

BUT there could be some small amount of other toxic gas, which could attack the nervous system, causing paralysis -- I think the track you are on should be explored, and I hope the investigators are looking into it.
