February 24, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has dispatched the elite commando force that hunted down Saddam Hussein to Afghanistan for a new operation aimed at getting Osama bin Laden, officials said yesterday. Military sources confirmed that members of the shadowy Task Force 121, the unit that conducted the high-tech search for Saddam and his henchmen, have recently begun operating in the remote mountainous region along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border where bin Laden and key al Qaeda and Taliban fugitives are believed to be hiding. The Task Force is made up of highly trained Delta and SEAL commandos, as well as CIA paramilitary operators. It operates outside normal military channels.

I work over at Kraft Headquarters. Kraft is in definite disarry. With the recent layoffs people seem to be mostly walking zimbies. I don't think they have a clue on how to recover, their sales are down right now. Kraft hasn't had many new successful products lately.

I am fit to be tied on Harley's ER visit. They put this poor, weak baby through all this testing, bone marrow, etc. and it comes back inconclusive! The bill for this for 3 days is extraordinary and I do not care if my Harley was better. I did alot of praying for her and decided to follow with the antibiotic/steroid therapy and bring our Harley home. She's wailing right now, but what a sweet annoyance. Thank you all for listening and those of you who empathize a cat is not just pet! -Hugz-

Hey, I can waste bandwith and so can other's who also were picked on for not believeing he was in custody and many who stayed neutral but doubted he was. -g-

Tenet: CIA lax in policing Iraq war claims
1 hour, 36 minutes ago

By John Diamond, USA TODAY

CIA (news - web sites) Director George Tenet acknowledged Tuesday that his agency was "wildly inconsistent" about policing White House statements on Iraq (news - web sites) before the invasion last year. The result, Democrats say, is that Bush administration exaggerations about Iraq's alleged weapons of mass destruction went unchallenged.

Tenet Defends White House on Iraq

WASHINGTON - CIA (news - web sites) Director George Tenet told skeptical Democrats he believes policy-makers are entitled to flexibility in how they interpret and describe intelligence and that it is not his role to second-guess them in public

{Sounds to me like old George {creep} is trying to exonerate himself an dimplicate}

Back to square one DC.

When they say inconclusive I liken it to "mysterious illness"

They don't know and are too arrogant to admit that!

They tried to tell me it came out that way because when they went for the marrow there was too much blood and it compromised the results

Petro Tanker Vessel Explosion Rocks Kirikiri

http://allafrica.com/stories/200403090383.html

Vanguard (Lagos)

Lagos

A 5000 ton petroleum tanker vessel exploded under the Kirikiri bridge in Lagos yesterday while discharging Low Pour Fuel Oil (LPFO) also known as black oil, severing the vessel.

It sent people within the area scampering for safety. Investigations revealed that the vessel was discharging LPFO at a jetty operated by Plain Nigeria Limited, with poor quality, poorly fitted hoses when the incident occurred. However, no life had been discovered lost at the time of filing this report. It was also discovered that there was no official of the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) at the jetty when the incident occurred, neither was there any navy presence or government agency presence at the jetty. Curiously though, about ten minutes after the incident occurred, naval personnel arrived and sealed off the premises to keep out prying eyes.

At the office of Plain Nigeria Limited located outside the jetty, a lady disclosed that she was the only one around to take enquiries. She admitted that the jetty was used for discharging LPFO, adding that she could not confirm if the vessel which exploded was actually discharging products at the time of explosion.

On the identity of a tanker vessel seen taking off at the time of explosion, she said she was not aware there was any tanker vessel within the vicinity at the time, adding that she had not been within the premises all day. People in the area told Vanguard that the jetty is used for discharging other petroleum products besides LPFO, and they were of the consensus that anything could have caused the explosion. Following the explosion, men of the Nigerian navy also tried to dissuade people from waiting on the bridge peering down on the fire, explaining that the bridge was at risk if there was still products in the burning vessel. When contacted, the spokesperson of the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), Belema Osibodu said it was strange that no official of the Department operates at the jetty, adding that she would look into it. She said it was likely the vessels are checked at another point before being allowed to move on, and reiterated her plans to investigate the status of the jetty.

That's why the CEO's see nothing wrong with Outsourcing, they get those huge bonus's...another thing that ticked me off is good old Viacom/CBS and how they pulled their channels from Dish network because Dish refuses to pass on the cost of their greed of 4 times the rate of inflation!

These channels and CBS stations, owned by Viacom, have proposed excessive rate increases which we feel are unreasonable. Viacom is demanding rate increases nearly 4 times the rate of inflation for various cable channels, amounting to hundreds of millions of dollars in fees that would increase the cost of our services to you.

I lost 13 of 15 cats to the disease.

Oh God, this is unphantomable! Don't have Harley's Mama here but felt it could be genetic and her immune system is genetically and inherently weak. Now I don't know why her 3 counts are off the charts. But if I did I'd be keeping her isolated. The vet said if my other three have been exposed, its too late already? Harley is isolated in one room now. And I'm taking her to another vet for follow-up.
