February 24, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has dispatched the elite commando force that hunted down Saddam Hussein to Afghanistan for a new operation aimed at getting Osama bin Laden, officials said yesterday. Military sources confirmed that members of the shadowy Task Force 121, the unit that conducted the high-tech search for Saddam and his henchmen, have recently begun operating in the remote mountainous region along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border where bin Laden and key al Qaeda and Taliban fugitives are believed to be hiding. The Task Force is made up of highly trained Delta and SEAL commandos, as well as CIA paramilitary operators. It operates outside normal military channels.

Besides the "Arabs" who would be killed are just Pali's - the selfsame people NO Arab state will welcome into it's own territory...

How would you rebuild the temple if the land were uninhabitable due to nuclear contamination?

I know :)

Actually I wouldn't be surprised to see them sabotage the Dome of the Rock or the Al Aqsa Mosque - I just don't think it would be nuclear. I could be wrong.

In my opinion I believe the intel reports I have heard over the phone in person-to-person conversation of intelligence sharing within the past month that there are approximately 40 such devices currently within the borders of the United States. That is the number mentioned by a US SOF operator who I am told is a member of one of the search teams.

Contemplating possible scenarios for use of the "40" is mind boggling. One each in 40 cities (pick 40 of your choice); a couple in neighboring cities, port cities, military bases, or nuclear power plants. As it stands, only a few of us are aware of the potential imminent danger and we are powerless to do much more than wait, prepare, pray and try to educate others about the fight of our lives going on right now on US soil.

Let's pray that tomorrow is a quiet day in Israel. That chatter was pretty descriptive. Enough details that hopefully people in those areas (market and schools) stay clear and those busses stay in the garage for the day. No point in giving them the chance to do their dirty work.

Good point. I assume that there are areas that are unusable but the cities do still exist and thrive

Anyone who nukes Israel might as well commit suicide. The Israeli response will be that swift and effective.

No doubt about that at all.

Dunno.

AmericanInTokyo? Do you know if there are any areas of Hiroshima or Nagasaki that are unusable due to lingering radiation?

all this talk of 20,30,40 nukes in the US. and the most powerful weapons they seem to be able to use in israel are ones strapped to someone's waist or in the trunk of a car? it just doesn't add up.

Should there be widespread devastation caused by detonation of any or all of those nukes, there will be hell to pay if it is later found that massive loss of life was caused by lack of notification that there was a credible possibility the nukes existed. Warning to the masses so they could determine if they want to stay put or make a move elsewhere would could cause paranoia to the stock market, dollar, businesses, etc. etc. etc. Damned if you do - damned if you don't. At the very least, the color code should be raised or eliminated if it is not being used for other than economic/monetary purposes.

>>>>The US isn't going to let them hit the Saudis for example, no way.

Saudi has recently broke our agreement by going with China.

I agree, but it will take time for the US to setup the Saudis (if ever). they have bought alot of protection inside our own government at CIA and State.

Iran In Touch With Al-Qaeda Terror Network

February 29, 2004

Islamabad -- Iran is in contact with Al-Qaeda terror network, US State Department’s ambassador-at-large J Cofer Black has alleged. He has demanded that Iran must expel or extradite all members of the network to the countries of their origin.

In an exclusive interview with Geo TV, Black said that US intelligence agencies are aware of the presence of some senior al-Qaeda leaders in Iran who are dangerous. He said that "these al-Qaeda operators are not only a threat to the US but they are also a threat to Pakistan".

Black appreciated the role of Pakistan in the war against terrorism and said that "two-thirds of al-Qaeda has been neutralised and more than 3,500 supporters have been arrested all over the world after 9/11".

He was not sure that Osama bin Laden would be captured alive but he said one thing with full confidence: "We will capture him very soon, if he does not surrender, then I don’t know what will happen?"

Black categorically denied the report of Radio Tehran that Osama was captured in South Waziristan. He said that the radio made the same claim last year, which was not true.

Black served for 28 years in the CIA but he was not ready to answer some questions related to intelligence. He neither confirmed nor contradicted the recent secret visit of CIA chief George Tenet to Pakistan. He was not ready to comment on a reported meeting between Tenet and Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan in Islamabad but he said that Dr Qadeer is definitely providing vital information about proliferation.

Responding to a question, Black confirmed that coalition troops in Afghanistan are preparing for a major "hunt Osama operation" but he refused to comment on the reports that Osama’s deputy Dr Ayman al-Zawahri was spotted by US spy planes recently in the Waziristan region. Black also spoke on the threat of nuclear terrorism.
