It would be nice also to get in some kind of a "John Kerry/Jane Fonda" connection, too...Any suggestions as to spicing this up?

They are doing it on a Saturday because they know Brian (The Knockout Kid) Kilmeade isn't on the air, and Brian of course delivered knockout blows at them last year. Bring Brian to the rally and report on it, because he can show them proof of what the real meaning of ANSWER and other leftist pro-Commy, pro-terrorist, pro-Usama, and pro-Saddam groups.
To: RonDog
WOW! ANSWER!
Those guys are red meat for me.
It's been too long since we've had a good FREEP!
Is Ted going to be able to make it?
And where's the rest of the gang?

The big FReep is in Fayetteville on March 20. That's where the major support is needed. United Peace and Justice and 100 more groups are planning a convergence that is intended to embarrass and upset the families of our troops.
We need everyone from DC to Florida to join us at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC to Support our Troops and their families!

Daley defends anti-war rally permit denial
February 26, 2004
BY FRAN SPIELMAN City Hall Reporter
Mayor Daley on Wednesday defended the city's decision to deny a permit to anti-war activists planning a March 20 demonstration to mark the first anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq.
An estimated 4,000 protesters wanted to walk down the middle of Michigan Avenue -- from Pearson Street to the Federal Building plaza -- from noon to 2 p.m. on a busy Saturday of downtown shopping.
City Hall refused and offered alternative routes. One would have had the protest begin at Washington Square Park, 901 N. Clark, and proceed south down Clark to the Loop. Another would have used Columbus Drive.
Daley acknowledged that he was concerned about a repeat of the March 20, 2003, fiasco, when 10,000 anti-war protesters shut down Lake Shore Drive during the height of the evening rush.
"They have a right to be against war, but it's costing you taxpayers a lot of money," the mayor said, though he refused to say whether protesters would be arrested if they insist on using southbound lanes of Michigan Avenue and filling the entire street along parts of State, Randolph and Adams.
Chicago Police let last year's anti-war demonstration get out of hand, only to come down hard with arrests of 543 people, 190 of whom were released without charges. A pending federal lawsuit has accused police of using excessive force when they took a stand at Michigan and Chicago.

WOOOHOO. Mayor Daley's first sane move of his life time!
Question: How come we found out so late about this march? I am sure they will be trouble anyway. Sounds like a fun outing!
Last year about 6 Chicagoland Freepers stood against the crowds on the corner of Western and Devon. Lots of folks in their cars who saw are signs and banners gave us the thumbs up. We really pissed off some Communists and Anarchists!(The boys with the black hoods)
I cannot remember when I have had so much fun!
Redwing9,Chitown Chief, GRRRRR,BillyBoy,Justshutupandtakeit,Myself and I cannot remember who else!
Can others remember highlights of the Devon and Western Freep?
To: Afro_conservative
Don't argue with these fools it is pointless. I agree with you except in this case. The media does give coverage to the counter protest and to the ideas expressed.
Plus last time we got this cool picture in AP.

"We hounded them mercilessly in DC, every time they came to town - all hundred-or-so of us, for over two years. And guess where they AREN'T MARCHING this time?" Dratts Batman. We may have to go back to Gotham City to put out this fire.
canswers tails are between their legs and they pulled out of DC like the dogs that they are. They ran out of free lunches and free bus rides. Most important, a small band of right wing wackos on one little corner of DC said more on their signs and spoke a message the media and the people in America agreed with.
Next up, Becker and Benjamin are toast.

1. "Ex" hippies run the government schools, the universities, the media and many corporations - e.g. long years of undeserved influence, ongoing Gramscian rot, etc.
2. Lacks of patriotism, traditional values and religion, in the public square, have conditioned the masses to become cynical, secular and Jacobin. Leftist views are therefore main stream.
