If you scrutinize the U.S. labor market numbers from the last two years of economic recovery, you're left with what seems to be a paradox. Since the recession's low point, in November 2001, the number of employed people 16 and older has risen, but the number of jobs on the formal payrolls of employers remains below recessionary levels...

One name/password combo that's worked in the past is laexaminer/laexaminer.

when a enthnic minority becomes a majorityWhat's really strange if when they become the by-far majority and still claim to be a minority so they can get affirmative action and government money. In this region one "minority" is over 80% of the population, still refers to itself as a minority and demands affirmative action and minority program money.

This morning I has breakfast in a diner. There was a young man there who had just finished his first night at a job loading trucks. He did not have anything good to say about his employer. It seems that they were in a jam and had asked him to work an extra four hours to help them out. He had refused.
He was newly divorced and had come into town on the bus. He had been in town less than a week. He was nearly broke. He said somebody (probably a church) had given him a bag of groceries to last until his first paycheck. He was staying in a motel on a housing chit. He had no car, nothing but a suitcase of clothes.
They had started him at $13.00+ an hour. The extra four hours would have been overtime at $20.00 an hour. Here he was sitting in a coffeeshop snorting that he wasn't married to no damn job and that he had better things to do. This was his first day, the best that his employer can ever expect to see him. I've got an idea that he's on someone's short list.
I suspect that a lot of people are going to feel a lot of pain before the attitude adjustment is finished.

There are some new articles out --- one published by some black caucus guy about black and hispanic unemployment being way up --- whites are sometimes lazy --- but overall whites have the best employment statistics --- and that's in spite of affirmative action working against them. We've got serious problems here with hispanic youth unemployment and the kids running in gangs which are often violent, white kids seem to be working for the most part.

ENGEL: HISPANIC UNEMPLOYMENT SKYROCKETS,
JOBLESS RECOVERY CONTINUES
http://www.house.gov/apps/list/press/ny17_engel/pr020405.html I think the democrats will be doing a lot of this --- when we say native born americans out of work it is generally the minorities who are more likely out of work -- and the democrats will promise them good jobs.

I don't doubt that overall whites have better job records. A white is generally invested in a career path. In both Arizona and New Mexico, among those recieving state aid, the Mexican is more likely to be working. I would be interested to see comparative stats broken into income level and ethnicity.
Regardless, it is the sea in which we will swim. Mexican or white, job performance is still the key to job security. Often that isn't enough when broader influences intervene but as costs rise no one is going to carry deadwood.

I was in Phoenix for a conference and saw the stats for the Litchfield Park area. Income levels for blacks and Mexicans were eyepopping. Mainly construction related. Why don't some of the slugs from south Phoenix move a few miles and get to work?

California is already Lost Angelos. If the Gubernator is folding what chance remains? White flight is being followed by Hispanic-descendent Americans sick of it. Anyone wish to bet on the next state to go down? Other States may have a higher illegal population but Texas is hurting. TWO YEARS AGO I was dropping by the family house on a weekday. It is 1/2 block from my graduating high school. The COLOR Guard is practicing on the football field with the school flag, a Texas Flag and a MEXICAN FLAG. I sheite you not. My family thought I had been drinking as I was unable to speak for about 10 minutes.
We have since sold the house. 4 years ago there had never been a single instance of any criminal attack on the house, Then, starting in 1999 till about 6 months ago . . .
2 break ins,
3 instance of the patio table and chairs stolen from the FRONT breeze-way,
3 attempts by black female gang members to talk mom into unlocking the door to give them money (all after dark),
2 illegals claiming to be sick and wanting money, one of them "collapsed" into the chair by the front door, (yes, the stuff that kept getting stolen) and "could not walk another step" till I pulled up the blind on the side window, racked off my .40, and pointed it at his temple which was about 2 inches from the glass and stated to him my best guess as to the origins of his birth in Spanish. He ran, as it turns out, to a waiting Ford late model 4x4 his buddy was driving.
Why does any of this not surprise me?
Worthless scum and illegals, and this is the "future of America?"

He couldn't walk another step but found the strength to run with a little .40 caliber motivation. Praise the lord he hath been healed!
As horrible as conditions are becoming, how much worse would it be if we were disarmed?
Since this stuff continues to occur around your home you might want to post bilingual signs and pack a good low-light capable camera (with the time-signature feature) to document tresspassing incidents. That way if you wind up in court for defending your property you'll have a record of sorts to back you up. Beats being at the mercy of a District Attorney with political aspirations.
