WOW! Great insight! I never knew he was only in country for 4 months.
That is a LOT of hardware for such a short time.
It almost doesn't do justice to the medals.

Bump - this take on Kerry's war 'record' makes alot more sense to me than what Kerry would have me believe.

Thanks for the post. Ketchup Kerry may regret the day he ever revealed he was a Viet Nam veteran. I was on the Laura Ingraham radio show this am and I told Laura that during the time I was in Nam 1969 and 1970, I walked point for the 1st Battalion, 5th Marines. And I, being one the S-2 Scouts, had access to Marine Corps intelligence and that Kerry was a "bald faced liar". There were no "mass atrocities" by Marines in Viet Nam. PERIOD! Semper Fi, Kelly

Kerry may rue the day he brought so much attention to his "heroic" war record.

If Bush's Guard service is such an issue, then surely Kerry's service claims are equally open to scrutiny. Something really does sound fishy about them, the story just doesn't sound worthy of all those medals. The real heroes didn't get any medals, of course, their stories will never be known. For Kerry to exploit his "heroism" for personal and political advantage is really crass and ignoble.

Kerry might have been sent out of Vietnam early for going psycho and slaughtering civilians and executing wounded prisoners. Why won't he release his military records and tell us the truth why he only served 4 months?

I had a conversation with someone recently about candidates for the White House and other prominent elected offices, and this person made a very astute observation that I think closely reflects what this article is saying. I'll paraphrase his comment:
"There's really only a certain kind of person who runs for public office on that level and that is a type of person whom most Americans will never meet in their lives. Their sense of ambition is pathological, to the point where it knows no bounds. These people are so focused on their goals that they will sit down and eat a truckload of horse sh!t if that's what it took to achieve those goals -- whereas any normal person wouldn't even eat a single mouthful."

Only four months in country, all that hardware and he still had time to make all those observations that he reported to the Congress?
Just For Kerry's been at the game a loooooong time.

Release your military records, John Kerry. If you're the hero you keep telling us you are, you should have no qualms about releasing the records. What are you afraid of? And how about releasing those financial records while you're at it?

We're really going to dig into this. It is a great chance to undo the lies that have been told in academia and among the Marxist elites ever since the Viet Nam War. These lies have been taught to young people without effective challenge all this time.

Two reporters from the Boston Globe have written a book about Kerry's military service. They asked Kerry for a release to view his miliatary records.......KERRY REFUSED!
