In memory of my fellow Vietnam helicopter pilots who were killed in that war the following pilots were lost on FEB 23. God bless them all.

1966 1LT William J. Stephenson (USAR) -- A/1/9 CAV 1 CAV, Age 24, Married, Bound Brook, New Jersey
1968 WO1 William R. Hight (USAR) -- 170 AHC, Age 23, Single, Charleston, South Carolina
1970 WO1 Paul E. Dolik (USAR) -- 170 AHC, Age 21, Single, Palatine, Illinois
1970 WO1 Joseph F. Erickson (USAR) -- 155 AHC, Age 19, Single, Central Lake, Michigan
1970 WO1 Edward B. Melody (USAR) -- 162 AHC, Age 21, Single, Fayetteville, Arkansas
1970 WO1 Clark R. Pedersen (USAR) -- 11 GS 1 CAV, Age 21, Single, Steger, Illinois
1971 1LT Dennis C. Farris (USAR) -- 173 AHC, Age 25, Married, Guymon, Oklahoma
1971 CW2 Stephen M. Hiscock (USAR) -- D/3/5 CAV 5 INF, Age 20, Single, Atlanta, Georgia
1971 CW2 James A. Miner (USAR) -- 173 AHC, Age 22, Married, Middlesboro, Kentucky
1971 WO1 Roy Y. Shinkawa (USAR) -- 173 AHC, Age 23, Married, Honolulu, Hawaii
1971 1LT Terry M. Usher (USAR) -- 173 AHC, Age 27, Single, Tacoma, Washington

1LT Farris, 1LT Usher, CW2 Hiscock, CW2 Miner, and WO1 Shinkawa were all killed in Laos while supporting South Vietnamese operations across the border.

Thank you for remembering and honoring your fallen Vietnam comrades each week - a particularly sad date in 1970 and 1971, with 4 and 5 killed on that date. God Bless them all.
