You guys are crossing a line with this "investigation" that is as equally despicable and vile as anything the "rats" would do.

Oh, so publicizing the very words, deeds, and actions of a political opponent is "despicable and vile"? So, would you rather we ust invented something out of whole cloth instead? Would that ease your mind a little bit?

It's the Truth that is "despicable and vile", not us. I'd keep that in mind.

Compare the two lines of the article: This one is from the 1st paragraph:

"The Free Republic Network today announced the unveiling of www.WinterSoldier.com, a new web site to provide news, analysis and research material regarding the false claim by John Kerry and others during the Vietnam era that atrocities were routinely committed by America's military."

and this one is from the 3rd paragraph:

"Kerry testified before the Senate that the United States committed war crimes in Vietnam as a matter of military policy, citing claims of atrocities made at the discredited 'Winter Soldier Investigation' -- an event primarily funded by Jane Fonda.""

The first line implicates all soldiers, which is misleading.

The 2nd line is more accurate. It was Kerry's accuastion that it was military policy to allow war atrocities.

Military policy is what this is about, not the soldiers themselves.

I suggest correcting the first paragraph to reflect "military policy", not "military"....if disproving that is was "policy" is the intent of the investigation.
