Blame Howard Dean for soaking up and blowing 40 million in Dem political contribution money already.

Blame? I think we all want to thank him.;) Also he go JFKerry to not take matching funds. Granted we are all having to play for Sharptons stay at luxury hotels but I think we can live with that.

Mimicking a tactic used successfully by Bill Clinton against Bob Dole, the Bush campaign will unleash spring and summer television commercials lambasting Kerry just as he has no funds to counter the media assault.

The only difference will be, that when W uses the tactic, he will be criticized by the gas-bags in the media.

Yes, but ... Interesting bit about the constraints on repayment. I didn't know that part.

Still, that just means he's out "his own" money if he can't repay himself by July. (He essentially has no money of his own except for his Senate salary.) He won't lose the house, which is only half his anyway. (Pretty sure he won't starve, either.)

>> why doesn't george soros just buy the democrat party and then he could run a billion dollars worth of ads to get rid of the ever-hated W?

I want to see Kerry, Teresa, and Soros go broke while getting their butts kicked in November. Anyone want to bet a dollar?

So this is why Dick Morris is so eager for Bush to start trashing the front-runner. He must be wanting us to waste our bank on an also-ran, since it's clear Kerry isn't in it for the long haul.

He must defend them against informed people. I don't see the mass media taking this to the level it belongs.

So far they (ABCCBSNBCCNNCNBC)are reveling in reliving Vietnam again and creating ketchup boy as a sympathetic figure. Everytime they call him a hero, I have to hold it down.

Actually, I may be missing that the campaign contribution, while coming from Kerry himself, is from a mortgage. Some bank or other institution made the loan and will expect to be repaid from somewhere. It could be a real dilemma if repayment doesn't come on time. IOW, the only practical means of repayment would themselves constitute illegal contributions.

Morris doesn't come out of his shell until election time. It would be interesting to compare his opinions of a year ago to those upcoming.

According to information released by the John Kerry camp, the Mass. senator and presidential candidate had $2.1 million in the bank and debt of 7.2 million at the end of January. Most of the debt was a $6.4 million loan he made to his own campaign. This left the Kerry camp $5.1 million in the red, says a report in the Washington Post.

Damn! No wonder Teresa doesn't trust him with her money. I guess we're supposed to though?

That's Kerry mortgaging his half of a 12 million dollar house.

Sham transaction.  His house was conveniently overvalued and his friendly mortgage source (very friendly) readily accommodated.  Not a true arms length transaction; could be considered an illegal campaign contribution.  Kinda like when MacAuliffe was willing to help Bill Clinton mortgage his NY home.

What if Kerry copied Gore and accepted donations of 2 K apiece from a Buddhist temple full of RATS? Or dozens of temples or other organizations, fronting for RATS. Lovie Heinz-Kerry could make large donations to one and all, the organizations would basically launder her money. Gore got away with it. Why not ketchupboy?

If Soros was the VP nominee, couldn't he spend his billions on the Kerry/Soros campaign? Was he born in the US?

Heck, if Corzine can buy a Senate seat . . .

Some bank or other institution made the loan and will expect to be repaid from somewhere.

If you really believe this, I have a bridge in Brooklyn you will be very interested in buying.

No bank is ever going to foreclose on a high ranking RAT. The loan will go into the non-performing loans category and sit there forever. When Kerry or his wife dies, the bank will ask the estate for the money back.

Of course Kerry doesn't need funds, he's got the media.

He also has Soros and others who are more than willing to spend millions for Bush smears.

One of the people behing these smears being none other than Her Heinzee, Teresa:

Even if they did, and the Kerrys buy another house, who eats the loss? Ta-ray-zuh. You might as well say she gave the Kerry campaign 6.4 million.
