No deal on returning migrants to Mexico

MEXICO CITY - Top Homeland Security Department officials and their Mexican counterparts completed two days of talks here yesterday but did not reach agreement on a proposed U.S. deportation program.

Under the controversial proposal, tens of thousands of illegal Mexican immigrants caught along the U.S.-Mexico border would be flown into the country's interior and repatriated there.

"The Bush administration has been negotiating with the Mexican government since last summer on returning Mexicans to cities farther from the U.S. border and closer to their homes.

They are working on it, but the Mexicans are hard to negotiate with. These things take time. Apparently it looked like they had a deal earlier and it fell apart -- but they are still negotiating, and that's a good sign.

Yet another reason to reject Bushs amnesty proposal. Looks as if the administration had hoped to appease the public with this agreement. One of the many reasons why there is nothing more permanent than a temporary worker. There is practically no enforcement now, why would be any different in the future. Bush will still keep pushing his amnesty plan anyway.

Here is what you do: Mexico just announced that they are Cong to charge a 35% tax on money wired from the USA to Mexico for about $13 Billion revenue a year. Unless Mexico takes back whoever we send them and stops aiding illegals to get here the amount that can be sent in a month will be limited or the program stopped.

There would be a revolution in Mexico within 6 months if those transfers were modified.

There would be a revolution in the American banking industry if that happened. Wells Fargo and Bank of America are collecting hugh sums of money from expatriates by charging a fee to make the remissions transfers.

Forget "negotiating" with the Mex. Thug Gov.

Step ONE! Make all illegal entry into the U.S. a FELONY on first offence!
ALL such felons to lose ANY chance of EVER becoming a U.S. citizen!
ALL such invaders to be permanently barred from gaining voting rights in the U.S.!

Just load the d*** illegal invaders on ships, retired ocean liners or battle cruisers, whatever can be found to do the job.

Cruise them to the Mex. coastal point furthest from the U.S. and kick them off.
Transporting them in mass numbers, by boat, will be much cheaper than plane tickets.

If Fox and his socialist thugs have a problem with that, start repealing provisions of NAFTA until they get the message!
Start with the free passage of Mex. trucks, cancel the border commute lanes, and continue with higher duties on Mex. goods to repay the cost of border enforcement.

It really is NOT that hard to figure out, we simply have to remove the incentive for V. Fox and his thugs to continue exporting their problems to the U.S.
