Yes, I see, you are referring to God's forthcoming judgement on the unbelieving and disobedient/rebellious/God rejecting world.

I was referring to society/ the world getting more and more evil/rebellious/ pagan/ wicked/ in the run up to the judgement.

Even if someone isn't a religious believer, common sense tells the same thing. You remove and destroy the very foundation of cilization (as opposed to less-than-animal life) and civilization will fall apart. Stands to reason. The only reason I can think of that liberals don't see this is because they want society to get destroyed*, or they are so totally blind to reason they are psychotic.
