You're right. Think of how many of us wanted GWB to bomb the entire Mideast after 9-11. But GWB waited until the right moment. O'Reilly needs to calm down and realize it does take time to formulate a strategy- a winning one to say the least. In the meantime, I do believe that state officials MUST enforce existing laws, meaning Gov. Arnold needs to step up to the plate. This outright move toward anarchy will dismantle this country.
O'Reilly is right that if this activist movement isn't stopped, the America we know and remember will be gone forever in five years.

If GWB is taking his time wanting to do the right thing on this issue, then great!
But after the illegal alien plan, medicare, increased funding for the NEA, etc. it makes you wonder if his relative silence on this is a careful plan to oppose it or trying to appeal to "the middle."
I sure hope not.
We need strong leaders and the president can be a force in rallying the country against our foreign enemies AND cultural enemies from within. In fact it could be one of the issues that bring people out to vote for him if he'll take a strong stand.

I don't think this should be addressed by an ammendment to the Constitution. Simply use the "Defense of Marriage Act" as a wedge to the States. Tell tham if they ignore the Defense of Marriage Act, they will no longer recieve federal funds for law enforcement and Highway funds

(There's no leaders on the path of least resistance, ask John Kerry, he's been paving it for 32 yrs.)

O'Reilly needs to calm down and realize it does take time to formulate a strategyIt took the A.G. of N.M. less than a day to shut down same-sex licenses in that state. Maybe Bush has to take his time to do it right, but Arnold should've been there from the start and his words should have been more forthright.
