LOL! Sorry... did you know that those are called "earworms?" :) It was on CNN.com a while back.

I'm not really sure how to get rid of an earworm, other than listening to some other, more irritating, piece of music. :)

I remember reading that article - earworms is an good term for it. I've had this "problem" all my life. I've gotten used to it but it drives my wife (and a few coworkers) nuts. If my hands are idle I tend to drum with my fingers to whatever tune is running through my head. :-)

I can think of one more irritating song... the little jingle for Expedia (dot coooooooom). Makes me want to scream like Howard Dean!
