BUT IN 2003, KERRY SUGGESTED HE MIGHT SUPPORT
GAY MARRIAGE IF IT BECAME PUBLICLY ACCEPTABLE

On Question Of Gay Marriage, Kerry Said, “We Need To Achieve What We Can, And Then We Will See Where We Are.” Kerry believes civil unions “would be more acceptable to the public than marriage for homosexual couples. IN 2002, HE SIGNED LETTER REJECTING MASSACHUSETTS CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT BANNING GAY MARRIAGE

Kerry always has that confused look about him, that is why he dodges venuse where he has to give long statements.

Once again, John F'in Kerry comes down solidly on both sides of the same issue.The only thing in question is his competency to serve as any more than a spear-carrier in the US Senate. If he were to succeed in gaining the White House, we may depend on no decision ever being made on anything.

Kerry's standard response now is that his position on gay marriage is the same as Dick Cheney's. He doesn't elaborate more than that except to say he is against it. Kerry needs to explain his position and his previous record and not be allowed to get away with a glib explanation. The media is giving him a pass.

Fox News reported just now that Barbara Boxer is against the marriages for homosexuals taking place in SF. Fox News also noted for the record that she's up for re-election this year.

I hope this stays in the media, front and center. I hope the homosexuals push their agenda in every city in the country, and keep this issue burning.

If so, a few people might just wake up.

IMO, the Bush Administration can get the most mileage out of the gay marriage issue by pinning Sen. Gigolo down on the issue, once it's clear he'll be the 'Rat nominee.

Either Kerry should be forced to advocate gay marriage at which time George Bush can marginalize both Kerry and this unpopular issue at the same time, or Kerry should be forced to disavow supporting it, in which case it's not really going to be a presidential election year issue, or Kerry will continue to waffle, which should make him vulnerable to accusations of indecisiveness, lack of a moral compass, opportunism, etc. etc.

I think that the Bush Administration should be able to use the gay marriage issue vis a vis Kerry to advantage if they play it right. I'm not sure getting way out in front on the gay marriage issue right now would be conducive to this happening.
