Farmer samples manure cocktail

WINCHESTER, Ind. -- A farmer who wants to build a 1,650-cow dairy farm about 20 miles east of Muncie drank a glass of water with a drop of manure in it to prove the waste material is safe.

During a public hearing Wednesday, Tony Goltstein, a Dutch immigrant, drank the mixture in front of a surprised crowd of about 200 people at the Randolph County Fairgrounds.

I bet James Carville could drink a glass of manure with one drop of water in it. That's about the same proportion of manure in his commentaries.
