Yep. It's time to wake up and unplug from The Matrix.

This is Bush "rope-a-dope". Let the Rats climb out on that limb, let them get more and more outrageous... Let them put more and more chips on the table. I'll bet there's more shock and awe coming. If I were working with Karl Rove, I'd have been planning it since January 2000.

I've rather enjoyed listening to this one-sided conversation. All the childish emotion has just revealed the level of irrelevancy promoted by the DNC. They've been reduced to recycling the same conversation over and over. And that there has been little RNC response is driving them crazy. I hope W stays the course and waits until the nominee is selected. Can you say PUNK'D?

Apart from Secretary of State and a few other positions, just what does the President have to do with the employment rate?

I have one question for John F'ing Kerry to answer.

Just how do you intend to create jobs?

I saw the poll referenced in the above article on Drudge. BUT, I also saw another poll on Drudge. A Zogby poll showing Bush winning decisively in all the "red" states and trailing by slim margins in the Blue states. This means, of course, that victories in the red states guarentees four more years.

The media continue to ignore the electoral college. Why is it important if Kerry wins every vote in New York or California - the electors only vote once. Bush could lose the popular vote, again, and would still be legitimately elected.

Let's see.

Kerry is only even or slightly ahead.

This is after uncountered barrages from the nine Democrats, plus all the satellite screed-merchants like MoveOn.org.

Yet, Bush continues to out-fundraise Kerry, who is spending his money, while Bush isn't.

Kerry, as the one who came from off the radar screen after Howard Dean chewed his own leg off, also hasn't been vetted by the average voter-- he's just the latest name getting attention.

Meanwhile, the Rats are playing their cards, which should be old news by the time election day rolls around, while all the dirty laundry about Kerry just builds up in the laundry basket.

It looks to me like it's just a matter of letting the water rise and keeping your powder dry-- then, when the time is right, you can overwhelm the opposition with greater resources, greater ammunition, and greater reserves.

And that's not to mention, every time a good economic post comes out, their support gets whittled away a little more. The next job report will be a pretty good indicator of the amount of ground Bush will be able to close, and how soon.

Overall, the situation is not dire, and the advantages continue to accrue to the Good Guys....I think I'm staying cautioously optimistic.

It was clear that this was the dem strategy when they began the new campaign 2.5 years before the next election. I wrote about it then, that the point was complicity between the media and the dems to enable the media to broadcast negative information against the president with impunity by calling it "news."

In the future, it will probably be necessary to counteract this strategy by running a real republican primary

And after all the bashing, Bush is still doing well in the polls.
