OMGosh, I'm laughing my butt off. That's the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. Thanks for making my day!

Ah, those were the days... We didn't even THINK of pain (not until it happened, that is), and yet we weren't acting irresponsibly or dangerously. And what weighed a small risk in front of that great feeling of freedom and adventure, when it was you, your buddies and the woods or the banks of a little river ?

So, sorry for the spilled Coke, I hadn't realized the full comic potential of my home page ! Now I'll just have to attend some comic-management classes so as to take Coke-spilling seriously, as the potentially dangerous activity it is. Damn ! Or, I could just go jingoistic and suggest you drink Perrier or Evian. LOL

They are raising a generation of children who don't know how to do anything except for following orders and wasting time with frivolous and destructive pursuits.

Such is necessary for the planned destruction of America, and her incorporation into a global police state where government does not recognize the Rights of the individual.

Nah. Let 'em grow up to be good little blue-zone Socialist urban drones.

Should it become necessary to straighten things out, they'll be creatures with a lifetime of habit of obeying the ones with the guns.

Us.

These people are definitely taking these kids down a wrong road. I don't like these people taking the future of our country down this road. They will not teach them about the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Don't even think about the Founding Fathers. They have to make sure they don't tell them that our country has two hundred plus years of of great history.

LOL! No need to go to any trouble on my behalf. :)

I guess I'm guilty of having preconceived notions... France = culture, sophistication & refinement like Texas = oil, cattle & a ‘scratch where it itches’ mentality.

Your blunt honesty just caught me by surprise.

I could just go jingoistic and suggest you drink Perrier or Evian

Thanks, but there's just something horribly unnatural about drinking water out of a bottle!

:)

I live in Western France, so maybe I'm some kind of French Texan ? Mixing stereotypes, this could make something like "Whoa, stranger, hold it right there, we don't like neo-existentialists in these parts"...LOL

So much for my jingoistic strategy, then. I can't really stand Evian myself, in fact.

Very quiet - well, the students are out there throwing eggs and flour at each other (making many an innocent victim here and there) because it's Mardi Gras, but that's all.

Once again we're missing mass extinction by an inch, because these guys have not been properly warned of the dangers of egg-throwing and flour-dispersion ! I shudder when I think of all the yolk-intolerant people who could see their lives shattered - and speaking of shatter, these pointy fragments of egg shells definitely look dangerous to me ! lol.

I guess your keyboard is safe and unscathed, right ?

That would have been exrremely hilarious if at the last second the kid stopped, whirled around with the gun and pretended to shoot everybody as "enemy troops". Okay, flame away...

Ah, I had forgotten - insanity will be reigning in Austin tonight.

these guys have not been properly warned of the dangers of egg-throwing and flour-dispersion !

They will learn when everyone begins to sneeze donuts!

LOL!

and my keyboard is so far undamaged, but the day is young. :)

"The Greatest Generation" won WWII because soldiers had grown up already knowing how to shoot.

I myself didn't grow up playing war games, but this Southern GIRL had her own air rifle to practice on targets and going hunting w/her father.

True story: Some liberal acquaintances of ours refused to let their firstborn son be a macho he-man and bought him dolls and cute fuzzies for his sole means of play. He promptly ripped a Barbie's head off, pried off a leg, and ran around the living room with the leg shouting, "Bang! Bang!" (The best laid plans of mice and men, you know.)
