NEW YORK - Days before the release of Mel Gibson's film about the death of Jesus, which some critics say could fuel anti-Semitism, his father has told an interviewer that the Holocaust was mostly "fiction."
Steve Feuerstein - host of "Speak Your Piece!" - said he interviewed Hutton Gibson for a segment of his show to be broadcast Monday by the small Talkline Communications Network.

Mel says hes an old man with old ideas.
In other words he's harmless and irrelevant.

According to a transcript released by the network, Hutton Gibson said, "It's all - maybe not all fiction - but most of it is," when asked about his views on the Holocaust.Mel Gibson's father is really Noam Chomsky...? :)

He's irrelevant but not harmless. Not in the least. Such people should be denigrated but not ignored. I wish that Mel would take a more strident public position against his father, but I suspect that would just encourage the old man.

In this latest interview, Gibson said Jews want to take over the world. He did not know why Jews would want to achieve that, but said "it's all about control. They're after one world religion and one world government."Hasn't he heard? Christianity is a 2,000-year-old Jewish plot to bring all the world under the authority of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

The only reason we even know about the old man is because the media exposes him in thier pathetic attempt to harm Mel.

My family is always having meetings about our embarrassing family member.
My family is not too brite. They keep giving me the wrong directions to the meetings. I've missed everyone so far.

Ya...like Mel doesn't have enough to deal with, good ole Dad has to help stir the pot. Geesh
To: cripplecreek
True. That and the fact that Hut is a willing participant in all of this. HG desperately wants this attention. At the end of all this, I think we will see Hutton Gibson get repudiated by his son very publicly. If so, it will be quite a dramatic moment.

Mel Gibsons father,or any one else for that matter, cannot definitively say how many Jews were exterminated by the Europeans that sympathized with the Nazis circa 1939-1945.
If Gibsons father said the Holocaust never happened,it would be news.
Arguing over numbers is ridiculous.
John Kerry would allow the extermination of Jews to continue, albeit on a reduced scale, at least until Islam has enough bombs to destroy Israel.
The French speaking Kerry has a lot of explaining to do.
